Tryout poster?

well guys, im not amazing with photoshop, not amazing at all in fact, but I put this together last night...




what do you think?

a couple of comments:

1- take out the CXBL logo. People could think that they can try out for the CXBL team also (unless that you want CXBL level also)

2- Take out the Dye and Proto logos. We did not get authorization by Dye and they are not sponsoring these tryouts

3- Gotta have it in French also (I'm not preaching, but gotta be fair for those who don't read english)

4- When you are ready to include more details, make sure that you mention that Cowboy practices are usually held in Montreal, Laval and Mirabel with 4 to 5 practices in the summer at Mont-Tremblant (rides available from PBL). Some people think that we only practice up north and it scares them away from the team.

5- later, we can go through the list of what we expect from people that join the team. We can then list those when we make the official announcement

these are the only 2 that i see as being more affective to the poster... For the Dye logos i think we should kep em and in small actually put like (sponsered by: PBL, Dye< Proto etc... i think it adds more profesinalism... and i might be adding Hype energy drink to the sponser list

You should also put the 2 cowboy logos at the same lvl... like side by side

ya we need to put cxbl, more people will come= more money.

and reason for the dye and proto people like hearing that we are sponsored by a big paintball name also = more people = more money

Not yet but I have to discuss with Marco and Eric first about it... basically I know somone that has the power to sponser a team

As Alain said, if we didn't get autorisation to use the Proto and Dye logo, we couldn't use it. It's a trademark and if we use it they could sue the team and that means less money. However, everyone knows that Cowboys is sposored by Dye... as of now. It may change for next year, talk to Marco and Éric.

I noticed that the tryout is announced on Paintball Montreal, but can you or Ethan put it on the CXBL website also?

The poster and info also need to be cleaned up on both forums to inlcude costs, time, place etc.

Also, it must indicate that people need to confirm attendance by contacting Marco at marco@buypbl.com

That's good, but add some french to it or better yet...

Take out When, Where and Price. That way it becomes almost bilingual.

Change the RSVP to "RSVP avant/before Nov. 19_____marco@buypbl.com"

That should be good. Don't forget to change it also on Paintball Montreal
